Many families are touched by the tragedy of Alzheimer's Disease and, as the population ages, the numbers are growing.  The RU-WINS December speaker, Dr. Silvia Fossati, will share information on one of the new approaches to deal with this condition.

Dr. Fossati is an Associate Professor at Temple University's Alzheimer's Center, part of the Cardiovascular Sciences and Lemole Center for Integrated Lymphatics Research.  She will speak on Cerebrovascular dysfunction and mitochondria-targeted therapeutic strategies in Alzheimer's Disease.  The lecture is in-person at the W. M. Keck Center Conference Room and also on zoom.  Following the presentation, Dr. Fossati will meet with undergraduate and graduate students and post-docs for pizza and discussion.
